Take one sample diluent tube, one rapid test cassette and the support frame from the kit
Using a lab grade pipette, aspirate 20 μl synovial fluid from the collection tube, using a pipette tip with filter
Add the 20 μl synovial fluid to the extraction tube
Invert the tube 10x to homogenize the solution
Add 80 μl extracted sample to the round well of the test cassette and incubate at room temperature for exactly 15 minutes
• Make the measurement using the Lyfstone app within two minutes
• Hold the smartphone above the sample and align the screen layout with the support frame
• The measurement is conducted automatically
• The Calprotectin concentration and the risk stratification group of the sample is displayed on the screen
• Provide sample ID to the result
• Save the measurement
• Saved measurements are auto-matically transferred to a database
